FIELD: medicine, juvenile orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: method is fulfilled by reposition of shifted intervertebral disc by power impact upon backbone followed by strengthening gymnastics to stabilize the position achieved. Moreover, reposition is conducted by manipulations in the following manner: backbone is bent backward forcing apart adjacent - left and right - vertebrae at the top of deformation curve, then upper part of backbone is turned and upper vertebra is directed towards intervertebral disc shift to obtain longitudinal ligament tension. Simultaneously, lower vertebra are turned towards opposite side, backbone is bent towards main deformation curve by fixing shifted part of intervertebral disc with closed edges of upper and lower vertebrae, then upper backbone part is turned to opposite direction and upper vertebra is moved to concave deformation side by replacing intervertebral disc into normal position. EFFECT: improved results at treating scoliosis at initial stage of development.
