FIELD: medical engineering, means for protecting personnel working under conditions of exposure to effects of electromagnetic radiation by forming local compensatory zone or biological shield. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises body made of non-magnetic material, such as, e.g. plastic. Silver plate is fixed by means of compound inside body. One half of face side of silver plate carries, secured with help of compound, spring-like electroconductive spiral, while other half carries, embedded in compound layer, two light-emitting diodes whose unlike-polarity outputs are interconnected and connected to spiral ends, thereby forming compensating electromagnetic radiation source. Connecting leadouts are disposed on underside of silver plate. and for this purpose plate is provided with openings located at connection points of light-emitting diodes and at points of spiral ends. Spiral acts as receiving aerial and as radiator, and it can be made to be not only planar, but also to be bulky, for instance, conically shaped with its tip facing metal plate surface. Diameter and spiral pitch of said spiral-like electroconductive spiral decrease monotonously as spiral center becomes nearer. Apparatus makes it possible to receive incident radiative energy field and to convert its negative component for subsequent radiation to neutralize this component. Said spring-like electrocoductive spiral arranged above metal plate serves for dual purpose viz.: it acts as receiver of added-up incident electromagnetic flux, and as compensatory electromagnetic flux radiator. Light-emitting diodes arranged on metal plate serve to discharge excessive portion of radiative energy being converted, thereby converting energy of negative component of main incident flux into harmonizing field component. EFFECT: better protection for people working under conditions of exposure to harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation. 10 cl, 4 dwg
