Abstract RU 2071618 C1

FIELD: electronic devices. SUBSTANCE: gas absorber is flat titanium (or titanium base alloy) part at least one through hole. It is placed between one of tube electrodes and its collector electrode (anode) perpendicular to direction of working electron flow of tube. Some of electrons from flow bombard gas absorber which heats up to 200-400 C. In the process, its sorbing properties greatly increase. When used in multibeam devices, flat part is provided with as many through holes as the number of beams device handles and is placed behind modulator so that each hole passes one of beams. Accelerating electrode potential is applied across mentioned absorbing part and in this case gas absorber also functions as mentioned electrode. EFFECT: provision for using nondiffused heated gas absorber in tubes where is no space for placing separate heat has-absorber unit with separate heat source (heating coil) inside tube envelope. 4 cl, 4 dwg
