FIELD: electrochemical methods. SUBSTANCE: rod intermediate articles are placed in electrolyte baths, where they are anodically dissolved using cylindrical cathodes and varying electrolyte level. In this process, rods are circumferentially displaced at a constant distance to cathode and/or axially rotated while end zones of rods are screened and electrolyte level in the baths is manyfold varied. Ratio of angle velocity of displacement to that of rotation of rods lies in the range 0.2-0.75. Rods are displaced with angular velocity not higher than 15 red/s. Electrolyte level change is performed 2n times where n=1-15. In screen zone additional electrodes can be involved. EFFECT: widened choice of manufactured tools and improved their quality. 5 cl, 3 dwg
