FIELD: production of microsurgical instruments. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing cylindrical billets into cavities of hollow cylindrical cathodes; dipping into electrolyte based on sulfuric and phosphoric acids; conducting treatment in two communicated baths with electrolyte depth difference in the baths being equal to length of conical part adapted for treatment. Billets and cathodes are connected in parallel with DC source, with current density being within the range of 300-1200 A/dm2. In the process of treatment electrolyte is pumped from one bath into another. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of microsurgical instruments. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
