FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: method for measuring discharge of a well lies in periodical passing well fluid flow preliminary separated from gas through measuring unit with constant limits of pressure drop in the measuring line. Readings on well discharge are taken from the unit. Well discharge is measured in the process of flow passing within specified pressure drops. Pressure drop limits are chosen so as to provide fluid flow rate under conditions as follows Re_min≥Re. the device has gas separator with floating sensor, inlet pipe for gas/fluid mixture and two outlet lines. One outlet line is used as gas line, and another as fluid line. Valve for regulating pressure drop and fluid counter related to measuring unit are installed in the device. The measuring unit comprises power unit, reference frequency generator with regulated frequency, frequency divider and single vibrators related to contact relay. Nozzle is installed at valve outlet.
