FIELD: steam generator of nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: steam generator has housing which includes economizer, evaporating and superheated steam zones, double-pipe heat exchange elements, four tube sheets for securing the outer and inner tubes of heat exchange elements, branch pipe for supplying heating medium from above to inter-tube space and top inner tubes simultaneously, branch pipe for supplying the working medium from below to circular chambers between outer and inner tubes and heating medium and steam discharge branch pipes. Circular chambers are provided with flow turbolators; coils of inner tube made in economizer and steam superheater zones perform the function of turbolators. Version is available where inner tube is provided with one or several sections of preset length in evaporator zone. Coiling may be made at smoothly changing pitch. According to other version, coiling of inner tube in economizer and steam superheater zones is made in the form of adjoining sections at smoothly increasing and decreasing diameter and constant pitch of coiling.
