FIELD: production of synthetic rubber. SUBSTANCE: desired phenol amine resins are prepared by condensation of technical 4-cumyl phenol (which contains acetophenone) with hexamethylene tetramine or formaldehyde or acetaldehyde. The process is carried out in the presence of aminoalocohol having common formula NHn(CH2-CH(R)-OH)m or N(CH2CH(R)OH)3 where R represents H, CH3, n= 1 or 2, m=1 or 2. Mass ratio of 4-cumyl phenol, aldehyde component and aminoalocohol is 100:(7-50):(5-300) respectively. Thus obtained resins have predetermined viscosity and have no acetophenone content.
