FIELD: manufacture of industrial rubber products. SUBSTANCE: method comprises reacting phenol component with hexamethylene tetramine in the presence of ammonium chloride modifier during heating operation. Phenol component is stillage residue in production of phenol and acetone by cumene method, 100 wt.pts of stillage residue resulting from production of phenol and acetone by cumene method use 0.4-2.0 wt.pt of ammonium chloride and 4.8 wt. pts of hexamethylene tetramine, and process is carried out at 110-150 C to obtain phenol-amine resin with drop point of 80-100 C. EFFECT: simplified method of preparing modified phenol-amine resin. 4 cl, 10 ex, 2 tbl
