FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: speed variator has driving clutch part made up as a shaft with cylindrical rotor and driven clutch part made up as a hollow housing. The grooves made in the rotor receive closures made up as flat blades. The inner side of the hollow housing encloses the rotor to form a nonuniform space separated by the blades into the spaces of variable volume. The spaces are in communication with a member for controlling the speed of rotation of the driven clutch part. The control member is made inside the rotor mounted eccentrically to the inner side of the driven clutch part. The blades are mounted radially and spring-loaded in the direction of pressing to the cylindrical inner side of the driving clutch part. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
