FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: variable-speed drive has housing, drive and driven clutch members and driven clutch member speed control element mounted for axial displacement. End of one clutch member is provided with cylindrical bore with end cam; end of other clutch member is provided with circular shoulder having two evenly located radial grooves; this shoulder is received by cylindrical bore of first clutch member. Both clutch members are mounted coaxially for rotation on shaft rigidly connected with housing. Unit transmitting the torque from drive clutch member to driven one is made in form of vanes spring-loaded axially and received by radial grooves for reciprocating. Shaft is provided with axial cylindrical chamber inside it and evenly distributed radial holes which bring axial cylindrical chamber of shaft in communication with chamber formed by cylindrical bore of first clutch member and circular shoulder of second clutch member. Member used for control of rotational speed of driven clutch member is located in axial cylindrical chamber of shaft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
