FIELD: instruments, in particular, digital signal conversion, remote control. SUBSTANCE: method involves sequential counting signal level for recovery of signal of process, detection of moment when first derivative of random process signal alters its sign. This is achieved by generation of frequency grid f, setting maximal frequency for sequential generation of "more-less" levels, checking order of generation of "more-less" voltage levels and comparison of duration of alternation in order and comparison of alternation speed to normal values. Deviations in order is used for judging sign of first derivative so that information about its sign is output. When this information is altered, signal about this moment is generated. Duration of alternation and alternation speed are used for judging frequency for generation of reference "more-less" levels. Results of conversion are output when signal reaches required level.
