FIELD: instruments, in particular, converting stochastic processes for automation and computer engineering, home appliances, medical devices and telemetry systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves detection of first derivative sign alternation of data sample signal in current moment, additional setting algorithm for detection of information non-simultaneity of frequency-modulated and modulating signals, differential detection of information time intervals in digital representation, analysis of non-simultaneity of signal in each moment, when sign of first derivative alters, by means of storing value of non-simultaneity and its comparison to previous value, detection of sample signal in moment of alternation of sign of increment to non-simultaneity of modulation signal, reading non-simultaneity between adjacent moments of alternation of sign of increment to non-simultaneity of modulation signal, correction of data about modulating signal. Device which implements method for digital modulation of FM signal has analog-to-digital converter, which is connected to input. In addition between output of analog-to-digital converter and device output, device has serial circuit of controlled generator, high frequency converter, port, comparison circuit, first flip-flop, first generator, OR gate, high-frequency amplitude converter, memory unit. In addition output of high frequency converter is connected to high frequency amplitude converter, and to second input of OR gate through serial circuit of comparison circuit, second flip-flop, second generator. Second inputs of first and second flip-flops and port are connected to first output of controlled generator. Outputs of first and second flip-flops are connected to corresponding inputs of memory unit, which fourth input is connected to second input of controlled generator and output of OR gate. Second output of controlled pulse generator is connected to fifth input of memory unit. Output of generator is connected to high-frequency amplitude converter and high-frequency converter. EFFECT: simplified algorithm of detection operation for which analysis operation runs in temporal space, and decreased information redundancy due set of members and their connection in device. 2 cl, 2 dwg
