FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has compound resistors 1, converters 2, regulation element 3 and control unit 4. One terminal of main windings 5 of generator is connected to output terminals and in each phase they are connected to star connection together with additional windings 6 and compound resistors 1. Second terminals of additional windings 6 are connected to rectifier 7 through regulation element 3 which is connected to generator excitation winding 8. Commutators 2 are connected in parallel to compound resistors 1 and are controlled by signals from control unit 4, which is connected to output terminals of generator.
