FOLDING HAND TRUCK Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: carrying hand luggage and purchases. SUBSTANCE: folding hand truck has posts 1 and 2, telescopic handle 20, hinged load-bearing frame consisting of rods 8 and strips 18, lock 10 and wheels 16. When folding the truck, telescopic handle 20 is pushed inside, thus decreasing height of truck. Width of truck is reduced by moving posts 1 and 2 to wards each other and by moving rods 8 and strips 18 also to wards each other. Folded rods 8 and strips 18 are turned towards posts 1 and 2, thus reducing depth of truck. Unfolding the truck in operating position takes place under action of forces of gravity of truck design members. Truck members, when unfolded, are locked by lock 10. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of folded truck, self-unfolding under gravity forces. 3 cl, 5 dwg
