FIELD: electrochemistry, anodic oxidation of aluminium and alloys thereof. SUBSTANCE: work pieces are subjected to anodic treatment in alkaline electrolyte by alternating asymmetrical electric current in form of unlike-polarity pulses having frequency up to 1 kHz and amplitude up to 1000 V at temperature of up to 90 C. Method is inventively novel by fact of using pulses in form of truncated sinusoids with steep leading edges. Such pulses are generated by rather simple conversion of voltage from industrial voltage supply network. EFFECT: simplified equipment and control system, better adaptability to large-scale production. 2 dwg
