FIELD: hydroelectric and wind-electric power units producing electricity by environmentally friendly method. SUBSTANCE: drum shaft is mounted vertically and supported by baseplate bearings built up of top and bottom disk holders, as well as large external and small internal blades secured between them in parallel to the shaft; external blades are shaped as arcs drawn from extreme distant points of holder radii to one half or two thirds of other radii shifted clockwise through 90 or 60 deg. To prevent water stream or wind dripping over concave sides of blades during their working movement, guards are mounted on concave sides of blades throughout entire blade length. Guards are equal to or slightly larger than, and two middle ones of internal blades are smaller than, lengths of chords of each segment and are at about 55 deg. to chords of each segment so that during working running of blades horns between segments and guards meet the water or wind stream thereby reducing dragging force of water stream or wind acting during their reverse movement. Depending on drum diameter, similar blades having included angle of 90 deg. are relatively shifted clockwise through 90, 60, 45, and 30 deg. and in the latter three cases they overlap each other; the number of external and internal blades is 4, 6, 8 and 12, respectively; in the two latter cases internal blades are not installed as their efficiency appreciably reduces; blades having included angle of 60 deg. are relatively shifted through 60, 45, 30 deg with relative overlapping in two latter cases and number of blades, respectively, 6, 8, 12; in the latter case, internal blades are not installed as their efficiency greatly decreases.
