FIELD: mechanical engineering; testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: test stand for gear drives has bed frame 1 on which housing is installed consisting of parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Drive shaft 7 is mounted in part 2 of housing. Drive shaft is coupled with input shafts 9 through belt drive 8. Input shafts 9 are connected by clutches 10 with intermediate shafts 11 installed in parts 3 and 6 of housing on which gear drives to be tested are mounted. Gears 12 engage with gear wheels 13 of drives under testing installed on gear-shafts 14 located in parts 4 and 5 of housing and engaging with output shaft 15 installed in housing parts 4 and 5. Parts 4, 5 are rigidly interconnected and can be turned relative to parts 2, 3, 6 of housing owing to slots for clamping studs 16 and intermediate shafts 11. Parts 2, 3, 6 of housing are rigidly connected to each other by screws 17 and studs 16 with nuts 18. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
