FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: claimed chemiluminescent composition is based on bis [1-(lH)-2-pyridonyl]glyoxaol and uses, as acid activator, mixture of acids. Invention makes it possible to improve lighting engineering parameters (longer service life or greater illumination intensity) and to make production cost cheaper due to use of Russia-made components. Invention makes provision for production of chemiluminescent compositions of different colors. In particular, it is possible to use, as light sources, white-glow phosphors overlapping by fluorescence peaks entire visible spectrum. EFFECT: cheaper and highly effective chemiluminescent composition offered. 10 tbl
