FIELD: artillery ammunition. SUBSTANCE: combination artillery propelling charge uses an initiation means, igniter and a charge consisting of powder elements of two kinds: powder elements of the first kind have the burning surface of a neutral propellant, and powder elements of the second kind are made as microcharges, having successively arranged sections of neutral and progressive burning; all external surfaces of the microcharges are armored, except for the lateral inlet strip of the neutral burning section; the microcharge progressive burning section is made in the form of two cylindrical sectors linked with the neutral burning section in the area of their vertices and one of the lateral surfaces.
