FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to three-phase power networks with insulated neutral and can be used to find active component of insulation resistance of three-phase power networks with insulated neutral relative to ground. In agreement with proposed method voltage between neutral of three-phase network and ground is measured additionally apart from measurement of phase voltage of network and voltage of phase to which additional capacitance is connected. Given method makes it possible to determine active component of insulation resistance of power network relative to ground with connection of additional capacitance to one of phases of network on basis of single measurement of values of voltage: of phase, of phase to which additional capacitance is connected relative to ground, between neutral of three-phase network and ground.
