FIELD: surgery. SUBSTANCE: method comprises following steps: die stamping of workpiece for curved rod 1, heat treatment, machining of rod, sharpening of working tip 2 of rod 1, forming ligature positioner made in form of spaced-apart clamping elements at non-working end of rod 1, deforming clamping elements in opposition to each other, thereby clamping ligature interposed between these elements. Workpiece for needle rod 1 is made of material possessing shape memorizing effect. Clamping elements are made by machining in form of individual lugs 3 having cuts 4 on their inner surface and spaced-apart at angle 15-30 deg., followed by annealing for 1 hour at 500 C with subsequent cooling down to 20-30 C. Ligature is fixedly positioned under sterile conditions after sterilization. Workpiece for needle rod 1 can be made of titanium nickelide. EFFECT: needle can be used many times and has improved operating properties; needle manufacturing process becomes cheaper and takes less time. 2 cl, 2 dwg
