SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a surgical device for suturing tissues and a method for making a suture using said device. Device comprises a housing to which two covers are attached, located relative to the housing in front and behind. On the front cover there is a suturing head consisting of a gear engaged with a gear wheel, a pulley rigidly attached to the gear, a gear wheel rigidly connected to a ratchet, a carrier in the form of a coil with the possibility of supporting the rollers-pushers made with the possibility of turning the needle during puncture, and a needle piercing element with a suture. Rack is attached to lever with return spring. Two C-shaped clamps with grooves at the ends are installed in the rear part of the housing with possibility of reciprocating movements. Method consists in the fact that the tissue suturing device is placed so that the edges of the sutured tissues are between the clamps. When pressing the lever, the patient's tissue is simultaneously clamped and punctured by the needle suturing element with the suture. After the suturing is completed, the patient's tissue is released from the clamps, the device is turned and the lever is pressed by passing the needle suturing element into the knot. Suture is pulled up and its tail is cut off with the final formation of the knot.

EFFECT: use of the group of inventions enables to reduce tissue injuries and time of surgical operations.
