FIELD: aeration of water. SUBSTANCE: method includes entering surface oxygen-saturated water into reservoir depth by means of transforming energy of surface waves into energy of displacement of water in pipeline. Simultaneously, deep water is lifted to the surface with acceleration due to hydrodynamic characteristics of inlet and outlet attachments of the pipeline and gas-lift effect of releasing gases, while deep water is heated using heat of surface water. Apparatus has a float, attached to it vertical pipe with return valve, annular surface heat exchanger arranged coaxially outside the pipeline, conoid attachments disposed on pipe inlets, and a conical converging attachment installed on inner pipe outlet.
