FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: primary treatment of oil at oilfields is effected by selective gassing of produced oil in special device in oilfield treatment facility. Method implies multistage separation of oil at which oil delivered at final stage of separation receives gas separated at first stage in amount of 5-10% of total gas content in crude oil at moment of its delivery to crude oil treatment facility. Before delivering oil to commercial processing, oil is subjected to gassing by microscopic gas bubbles of 0.1-0.2 mm size in amount of 1-1.5% of volume of liquid delivered. Separation of oil, water and sand is performed at speed of liquid movement in device which is determined by relation given in description of invention. Crude oil field treatment facility is provided with setter having bottom inlet, outlet branch and drain pipe connections with shut-off fittings, distributor and thin-wall partitions. Installed at settler inlet is damper-aerator in the form of vertical vessel with inlet, drain and branch pipe connections for liquid and gas provided with shut-off and regulation fittings. Installed in vessel is perforated pipe with microscopic holes of 0.1-0.2 mm diameter. Perforated pipe is coupled with drain pipe connection. Located inside this pipe is spring-mounted cylinder which is movable when viscous liquid is flowing around it. Cylinder is kinematically connected with regulation valve in gas inlet pipe connection. Settler body is cylindrical. Thin-wall partitions are installed vertically and distance between them is determined by formula given in description of invention. Device is provided with toroidal perforated pipeline for backwashing of sandy and asphaltic resin sediments and its bottom is angled at 45o.
