FIELD: plumbing fixtures. SUBSTANCE: valve head has body with external thread and circular wall with ports for passage of liquid medium, drive turnable rod made from plastic, handwheel and two ceramic disks with through holes. One disk is held stationary and other disk engageable with carrier is mounted movably. In end of lower portion of rod there is cavity whose walls have slots forming shaped edge. Carrier is mounted on end of cavity wall. Ratio of outer diameter of housing wall at area where ports are made to major diameter of thread ranges from 0.61 to 0.93. Ratio of thickness of above-mentioned wall to its outer diameter ranges from 0.048 to 0.22. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
