FIELD: metallurgy, namely production of aluminium by electrolysis in cells with preliminarily fired anodes. SUBSTANCE: holder of fired anode includes aluminium rod and steel bracket with groove mutually connected by welding through bimetallic plates arranged in said groove. Bimetallic plates are arranged in groove in such a way that contact surfaces of joined different type materials form angle no more than 10 degrees relative to vertical line.
