ALUMINUM ELECTROLYSER CLAMP WITH BURNT ANODES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2147628 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: clamp has body with threaded opening and wedge-shaped member, which are made in the form of combs. Clamp body has pressure screw extending through wedge-shaped member and connected with it via spring which abuts with its one end against pressure screw nut and with its other end against wedge-shaped member. Pressure screw is inserted into threaded opening of clamp body. Such construction allows anode holder bar fastening-unfastening operations to be mechanized. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 2 dwg
