METHOD OF FORMING ISOLATION CURTAIN AROUND MINE WORKINGS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: creation of favorable mine-geological conditions in construction and operation of mine workings can be effected by forming isolation curtain around mine workings in interwell space by drilling pumping wells and successive pumping of grouting solution into well. This is accompanied with continuous recording of a number of technological parameters during forming of curtain. After pumping-in of design determined amount of grouting slurry into rock of water-bearing level through bore-holes, calculated is mean value of coefficient of absorbing ability of each bore-hole. These values are compared with each other, and quality of isolation curtain is considered satisfactory if values of aforesaid coefficients for bore-holes grouted off at final stage of forming isolation curtain are lower than values of coefficient for bore-holes grouted off at initial and intermediate stages of forming this curtain.
