METHOD OF FORMATION OF FLAGGING SCREEN IN WATER-ENCROACHED ROCKS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be specifically used to limit inflow of water from water-bearing horizon to working level of open pit and to create normal conditions for development of mineral resources. Method of formation of plugging screen in water-encroached rocks provides for drilling of inclined-directional holes with sections of "horizontal" shafts in thickness of water-bearing horizon, pumping of grouting mortar into mass of water-encroached rocks through walls of holes to produce continuous screen over entire thickness of water-bearing horizon along perimeter of open pit. In process of performance of grouting operations one should observe joining of separate sections into one complete screen which will make it possible to convey water inflow beyond outline of working. Screen is formed by stopes. Formation of following stope is conducted after hardening of previous one. EFFECT: creation of normal conditions for development of mineral resources. 14 cl
