FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: device has cylindrical housing 1 with branch pipes 2, 3 to feed and remove liquid fuel. Screw insert 6 for stirring the fuel is installed in branch pipe 2. Ultrasound jet radiator 7 is placed in housing 7. Radiator 7 is made of two Archimedes' spirals 7a, 7b whose blades, pointed in opposite directions, are arranged between each other. Device has variable chamber 14 located after jet radiator 7 in direction of liquid fuel flow. Chamber has tapering and widening portions 14a, 14b. Minimum diameter do of chamber 14 is calculated by equation: where do - minimum diameter of chamber, m; K= 5-10 - designed coefficient taking into account physical properties of liquid fuel; Q - preset liquid fuel flow rate through fuel system, m3/c;. P2 - preset value of pressure in liquid fuel flow at outlet of chamber; Pa; Pc - liquid fuel pressure at which cavitation appears in fuel flow in widening portion 14b of chamber 14 at preset pressure differential before jet radiator 7 and pressure in flow in tapering portion 14a of chamber 14 after jet radiator 7. EFFECT: improved quality of fuel. 2 cl, 4 dwg
