FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: driving and driven shafts are joined through an intermediate shaft and two pivot clutches. Each clutch part is made up as a housing, insert, ring pivotally connected to the housing, and two mutually perpendicular pairs of levers pivotally connected to the ring and rigidly secured to the intermediate shaft. The sites where the levers is secured to the movable ring are shifted with respect to the sites where the ring is secured to the housing by 90 degrees. The shafts, housings, inserts, and intermediate shaft are hollow and form a unique pressure-tight space. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
