FIELD: agricultural meteorology. SUBSTANCE: method involves detecting charge cloud by meteorological radar; determining area to be subjected to the action of reactants; determining guidance angle of launcher with reactive missiles; guiding launcher; providing reactive missiles to mentioned area and ensuring release of reactants in mentioned area. Upon determination of parameters of area to be subjected to the action of reactants, optimum bombardment angle is set and launcher is positioned in plane of angle of optimum bombardment, which is 90 plus and minus 45 deg with respect to direction of advancement of charge cloud. Guidance angle of launcher is determined for each reactive missile designated for throwing and initial reactant release time for each reactive missile is estimated by predetermined dependences. Initial reactant applying time is introduced into control apparatus of each reactive missile. Transportation of reactant to mentioned area by launched missiles is conducted at intervals multiple the periods of renewals of area parameter data. During intervals between launches, additional guidance of launcher for elevation and azimuthal angles is conducted to provide for launching of subsequent reactive missile. Release of reactant by each reactive missile is started upon expiration of time data introduced into missile-born control apparatus.
