FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of clouds suppression, to prevent damage caused by hail, using aviation technology. According to the method, beforehand, in frontal part of cloud, in direction of radio echo shelter, zone of suppression is determined, by cyclic measurement of radiolocating signals along discrete spatial points, afterwards reagent is added into this zone with the help of rocket or aviation equipment. As zone of suppression is determined beforehand in direction of radio echo shelter, in a layer of cloud medium that lies above zero isotherm, zone of feeder clouds is identified, which is limited at back side by isocontour of radiolocating reflection property Z=10 dBZ, and at the sides - by two vertical planes that limit suppression zone along height. The first plane is arranged at windward side of a cloud along vector of the main air flow, and the second plane is arranged from leeward side in parallel to direction of radio echo shelter tangentially to isocontour of radiolocating reflection property Z=55 dBZ. Zone of suppression at frontal side is limited by borders of feeder clouds.
EFFECT: invention provides for improved efficiency of hail clouds suppression.
