FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying a unit for drawing together a group of vertebrae to be immobilized and supporting implantable members. The method involves skeletizing spinal processes and arch-spinal articulations of injured vertebrae adjacent to them on one of sides, forming round openings between each pair of the selected neighboring vertebrae in the vicinity of their bases, introducing the above mentioned supporting implantable cylindric members into each opening, making vertebral column reposition and fixing clamping unit on the spinal processes. Bed for placing implantable plate is formed by removing cortical layer from arches and arch-spinal articulations of the mentioned vertebrae and introducing the plate into the bed. Clamp manufactured from a material possessing thermomechanical shape memory properties is used as means for drawing together a group of vertebrae. The above mentioned supporting implantable members are manufactured from porous superelastic artificial material. EFFECT: wider range of applications. 6 cl
