FIELD: systems. SUBSTANCE: ballistic or winged flying vehicles are used as recovery transport facilities. Ballistic missile has launch vehicle and nose cone which contains thermal protective casing and automatic winged recovery vehicle placed in it. Nose cone is delivered to low-altitude area near in distress with the aid of launch vehicle, after which it is shifted to horizontal flight; recovery vehicle is brought out of thermal protective casing at subsonic speed, its wings are opened and engine is started. Recovery vehicle equipped with control and additional reconnaissance systems finding the position of people (or objects) to be rescued by information signs of different physical nature created against the background of environment. According to results of operation of subsystems, rescue facilities are lowered at low altitude and soft landing over people (objects). EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
