FIELD: cleaning of ship's hulls and submerged structures of organic and inorganic sea-crust. SUBSTANCE: cleaning mechanism is multisectional and each section is provided with suspension independent from other sections; suspensions are self-setting relative to surface to be cleaned. Each section is provided with cavitating jet generator and hold-down mechanism for pressing the section to surface being cleaned. Device is provided with cruising propulsors mounted on bearing frame, oil pumping station and control unit which are connected with surface control station by means of electric cable. Device is also provided with additional hold-down propulsor. Crushing and hold-down propulsor are helical in form and are provided with hydraulic motors. They are brought in communication with oil pumping station by means of control unit. Cruising propulsors are arranged symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of bearing frame and hold-down propulsors are mounted on bearing frame on opposite sides from center of mass.
