SUBSTANCE: engine has cylinder, pistons arranged in cylinder to form two working chambers and interconnected by slider made in the form of two toothed racks, and gear sector of mechanism converting reciprocating movement of pistons into rotary movement of output shaft installed on shaft to form meshing with racks and provided with gear cut on part of length of circumference. At side pointed to gear sector pistons have central shaped projections. At side diametrically opposite to cutting sector has mating cavity made to follow the shape of above-indicated projections.
