FIELD: assembly and repair of pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: built-up weighting material consists of group of U-shaped units 1 each of which is made in form of elliptical cylinder; upper base 2 of this cylinder has shoulder 4 with port 5 and opposite end of base 2 is provided with baffle plate 6 with retainer 7. In mounting the weighting material on pipe line, retainer 7 forms hinged pin joint with port 5 of adjacent unit. Operational bends of pipe line are copied by adjacent units and are reliably fixed on pipe line. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 3 dwg
