STRAIGHT-FLOW GAS PRESSURE GOVERNOR Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: methods for automatic control of manufacturing processes, possibly in gas industry for controlling gas pressure in objects of gas pipeline transport. SUBSTANCE: straight-flow gas pressure governor includes housing with closed opening and coaxial inlet and outlet branch pipes. Piston-type sensitive drive unit with radial bracket is arranged in the housing coaxially with branch pipes. Radial bracket has ducts for supplying setting and output pressure values. Locking-throttling member with gate valve and seat is also arranged in housing coaxially with branch pipes. Governor is provided in addition with header in the form of cylinder having gas passages and placed concentrically relative to gate valve. One portion of header is rigidly joined with drive assembly, seat is arranged in other portion of header and forms together with drive assembly combined unit that may be mounted-dismounted through opening of housing. Header portion with seat is fluid-tightly mounted in turning of outlet branch pipe. Radial bracket is joined with housing by means of removable plug. EFFECT: enhanced serviceability, repairability, reliability of governor. 1 dwg
