FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining toxoplasmosis and cytomegalovirus antibodies several times during the first year of the life in children born by seropositive mothers. Antibody titers level being lowered down to the point of its complete vanishing, intrauterine infection is judged to be excluded. Seropositive reaction being detected in later periods of the life, the corresponding postnatal infection is to be predicted. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis.
