FIELD: medical equipment used as a disinfectant or deodorant device, in domestic devices for sterilization of food products and their preservation, as well as for extermination of harmful microorganisms in cellars, hothouses, etc. SUBSTANCE: piezosemiconductor ozonator has a high-voltage power source, discharge chamber with the first and second electrodes separated by an air gap and dielectric layer; the high-voltage power source is made in the form of a self-sustained oscillator with a frequency-setting input and high-voltage piezotransformer, having an input and oscillator sections with electrodes, the output electrode of the piezotransformer oscillator section is connected to the first electrode of the discharge chamber, and the second electrode of the discharge chamber is connected to the frequency-setting input of the self-sustained oscillator and, via an isolating capacitor, to the common power line at a time.
