FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises recording short exposure time holograms of intensity of the light reflected from the object and retrieving the object. The short exposure time holograms are recorded with the contrast equal to unity. Each hologram obtained is then illuminated by coherent light with exposition shorter than the correlation time of the atmospheric fluctuations in time intervals longer than the time correlation of the atmospheric fluctuations. The frequency of the illumination is equal to the mean frequency of object illumination.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements.
