FIELD: agriculture, particularly, production of feeds with additional nutrient and mineral components designed for feeding laying hens. SUBSTANCE: feed additive is used in amount of 4 mas.% in rations of laying hens. It contains, mas.%: clinoptilolite, 66-68; sapropel, 32-34. When using proposed additive, egg production of laying hens increases by 17.6% and consumption of formula feed is reduced by 16.9% for 1000 eggs. EFFECT: increased egg production. 3 tbl
