FIELD: water treating. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treating water with ozone as oxidizing agent. Apparatus contains horizontal sealed casing with water inlet and outlet fittings separated with vertical wall into contact chamber and degasification chamber. The former encloses horizontal, parallel, alternately shifted partitions and a system for dispersing ozone-air mixture made in the form of porous pipes installed in spout guides disposed in the bottom of contact chamber and fastened with spline clamps. In the degasification chamber, under overflow window in vertical wall, narrowing perforated tray is placed inclined in direction of descending water flow. Under tray, at least two splitters are located. This chamber is also provided with upper and lower water level sensors connected with electrically controlled gates.
