FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: method includes impact crushing of jet on surface, dispersion of raw material with high-speed steam flow, subsequent crushing of raw material on additional surface by agency of additionally fed high-speed steam flow on that surface, and final pulverization of steam-dispersed raw material drops into heated catalyst stream. Method is distinguished with that impact crushing of raw material jet on surface is carried out at jet speed 10-30 m/s, steam flow at speed 50-250 m/s is fed along surface perimeter parallel to jet axis, obtained vapor-liquid mix is directed along additional surface onto which steam with speed 70-400 m/s is perpendicularly fed, and also that steam flow may be fed onto additional surface in the form of separate jets each having steam input constituting 0.5-5.0% of the summary steam input.
