FIELD: catalysts for petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing enclosing cylindrical chamber for burning coke provided with overflow pipes communicating in upper part with annular space between casing and cylindrical chamber and, in lower part, with cylindrical chamber and arrangement distributing catalyst in above- mentioned annular space. Apparatus also has cyclones and connecting pipes for introducing and withdrawing catalyst and gas streams. Height of vertical overflow pipes is 0.5-1.5 diameter of cylindrical chamber and the pipes are uniformly disposed along perimeter of chamber. Additional gas-distribution device is placed between casing and cylindrical chamber. Its gas-withdrawing openings are disposed on circle coaxial with cylindrical chamber, proportion of their diameters being 1.1-1.4, respectively. Catalyst-distribution arrangement is made in the form of cylindrical shell with holes uniformly distributed on its perimeter. The shell is equipped with cap in its top end and, in its bottom part, is connected with cylindrical chamber.
