FIELD: oil refining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to atomisers for spraying (crushing into drops) of liquid hydrocarbon fractions and feeding them into a riser reactor of a catalytic cracking unit for contact with a catalyst. Nozzle for feeding liquid hydrocarbon fractions into the reaction zone of a catalytic cracking unit includes a cylindrical channel for feeding liquid hydrocarbon fractions, spraying agent feed channel, spraying unit and mixing chamber with outlet slot. Spraying unit is made in the form of a nozzle of variable cross-section, successively including coaxial section of conical narrowing, cylindrical section and section of conical expansion, in which a baffle plate is located. Liquid hydrocarbon fractions supply channel is coaxially connected to the conical narrowing section, and the conical expansion section of the spraying unit is coaxially connected to the mixing chamber. Baffle plate is made in the form of a truncated cone with its smaller base facing the cylindrical section of the spraying unit and provided with slots at the larger base. Diameter of the smaller base of the conical baffle preferably corresponds to the diameter of the cylindrical section of the nozzle. Spraying agent feed channel communicates with spraying unit conical expansion section by holes arranged opposite baffle truncated cone side surface.

EFFECT: higher uniformity of droplet size distribution, created from crushing liquid hydrocarbon fractions with concurrent resulting suspension drop size minimization.
