FIELD: applicable in pile-driving hammers and other percussive mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: device for transmission of impact energy in pile-driving hammers and other percussive mechanisms is located in the hammer body between the percussive mass and hammered body and consists of three successive rigidly connected members: upper massive member - head coming in contact with percussive mass; lower supporting member made in form of ring or solid plate engageable with the hammered member directly or through head; and hollow flexible member located between the head and lower supporting member. Flexible member is made in form of several concentrically arranged and successively connected pipes. Pipes are cylindrical in shape and approximately similar in size of their cross-section. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 8 dwg
