FIELD: mechanical engineering; fuel ionization for internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel ionizer has three concentric electrodes isolated from one another; electrode of one polarity is located between electrodes of other polarity. All electrodes are made from metal wire; surface of conducting wire of inner electrode is coated with insulating material; coils of wire forming the center electrode are received by intercoil spaces of inner electrode; dielectric element located between center and outer electrodes is made in form of screen with longitudinal and radial passages wound on surface of center electrode; conducting wire forming outer electrode is wound on this screen.
